The 1880 Union Saloon is nestled in the little town of Los Alamos in the beautiful Santa Barbara County. The city of Los Alamos is home to antique shops, art studios, and restaurants. It is centrally located in the heart of the wine country.

It's the perfect get away! The comfortable decor of this hotel is reminiscent of California's past and is highlighted with touches of Victorian elegance. The Union Hotel, once an original Wells Fargo Stagecoach stop and telegraph office, housed the many travelers thru California.

History, beauty, charm and comfort has created a unique place to stay at this old 1880 Union Hotel. Each room is uniquely decorated to beautifully depict the era. You will feel as if you have been taken back to a time long forgotten.

Something you might not know is that we have a musical history too! The wonderful Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson filmed their music video "Say, Say, Say" here at The Union. Jon Bonjovi filmed his, "Bang A Drum" here with Chris Ladeaux, and Johnny Cash use to play in what is now the dinning room in the 50's. Early in his career Jimmy Messina has held his Songwriters Workshops here as well.
